Goal:
To share the facts about early sexual activity, encourage healthy choices in regards to teen relationships and sex, and to provide abstinence education to local youth and parents.

Main Objective:
Reduce the incidence of teen births and stem the transmission of STDs through the promotion of sexual abstinence as the expected societal norm for unmarried teens.

Posititve Message:
Sexual abstinence is 100% effective in preventing pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. Choosing abstinence means esteeming one's health as well as protecting one's goals and dreams.

In 2000 Pure Energy Abstinence Education got its start from an Executive Director with a vision for prevention and a High School teacher who was looking to provide a community resource to his students. We have grown from the one High School class in 2000 to meeting the needs of teachers, youth groups and clubs now serving approximately 11,000 students a year throughout Volusia County.

Interactive Programs for Youth
Pure Energy is about freedom! Helping today's teens live strong healthy lives free from the risks of pregnancy, STD's and addictions. We offer educational programs collaborating with the Volusia County School Disctrict and community agencies to educate young people about sexual health, the risks of early sexual activity and the benefits of abstinence until marriage. Personal testimonies, current video clips, and impacting demonstrations are all of the ways Pure Energy presenters reach today's youth with the positive message healthy choices and reaching goals and dreams!

Parent and Community Adult Programs
Pure Energy acknowledges that the family unit can powerfully influence the decisions young people make. In fact, parents are noted to be the most influential force in their children's lives. We encourage and support parents to lead their children to healthy behaviors.

Pure Energy's Parent Empowerment Presentation encourages parents, grandparents and community leaders; giving insight into this "Millenial Generation", discussing the "Teen Brain", and positive and negative struggles for our youth today. This educational presentation encourages healthy choices in regards to teen culture, character and sexual abstinence until marriage.
